Srinagar police organizes sports event | KNO

Srinagar, February 20 (KNO) : Under Civic Action Programme, Srinagar Police has organized a sports event at Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Habak Naseem Bagh Srinagar. SP Hazratbal Shri Amod Nagpure formally inaugurated the event. SDPO Hazratbal Shri Sajad Ahmad Malik was also present on the occasion.

Hundreds of youth including students of Nigeen and adjacent areas participated enthusiastically in the sports event. The matches of different games viz tug of war, table tennis & Wushu were played on knock-out basis. At the end of the event, the winners were suitably awarded. The aim to organize such events is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants.(KNO)
